Sorry, House Stark. You’re wrong this time. Summer is well on it’s way, and this is the first time I’ve been on Tumblr in a few months. Hi.
That is all,

Be a good man. Forgive your enemies. Love your woman. Protect your honor. Follow your dreams. Don't let anyone else tell you different.

Got this tattoo on 17/05/2012. It’s a quote from Eddard Stark, the character from Game of Thrones. I fell in love with the quote because it helps me reminding that it doesn’t matter how much I like to be alone, by myself, it is always important to keep in touch with people - it’s part of life’s survival guide.
PS: Yes, it hurts like shit to get a tattoo at this part of the body D:
Isn’t that rather personal. Why even bother being anonymous?

In the tattooing world this is known as a Rose of Jericho. It used to be quite popular with sailors in the past.

For my brother, my mother and for you. Thank you. For my baby sister for indirectly inspiring me to be a better man, and example for her.
I have spent most of the past year alone. Very closed off from the world. I haven’t done some of the things I should have. I have done some of things I shouldn’t have. I don’t have many close friends. I don’t often share much of who I am. However, there are those that have the ability to understand me, and are beginning to accept me. This brings joy to my heart. More than they could possibly know. I felt the need to share some things that have been shared with me. I feel that it is time to rise out of the ash, and become a child of flame once again.
I am no man of God, but there is wisdom here. For good men. Of all faiths. These are concepts in which I believe. This concept of loving, even your enemies. A basic goodwill towards all men.
Matthew 5:43-48
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Perhaps the Bible isn’t your thing, I can understand that as well. This quote below is for you.
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
And for those of you that enjoy love in fiction.
I hope that the world turns and that things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you. I love you. With all my heart, I love you. ‘V for Vendetta’
Remember dear souls,
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Good night, I love you.
Christopher.
